About the Author

TED DEWAN been an illustrator and cartoonist since 1988, and his work regularly appears in the Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Times, TES and Guardian. He won the coveted Mother Goose Award for his first children's picture book in 1992, Inside the Whale. Subsequent picture books include The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Top Secret. He has also illustrated children's and adult non-fiction. His first book for the Doubleday list was The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which was short-listed for the Kurt Maschler Award. He lives in Oxford with his wife, artist and Kate Greenaway Medal-winner, Helen Cooper, and their daughter. Award News: CRISPIN, THE PIG WHO HAD IT ALL has been shortlisted for The Kate Greenaway Medal - one of the most prestigious awards for children's illustration. All of the BIng books in the series are adorable!!! The art work is great and Bing bunny is too cute. I bought many different ones in the series and loved them all, as did my kids.

After spending MONTHS trying to get my son interested in books, I finally stumbled on Ted Dewan's Bing Bunny series at our public library. They've been checked out repeatedly for 2 months now (by ME) because my son cannot get enough of BING BUNNY!

The books are written in language that toddlers "get". There's a familiar start to every story, a problem to solve, and vibrant pictures to tell the story. WELL WORTH the hunt to find Bing Bunny books for your favorite toddler!

Bing SWING speaks to most toddlers, who love to swing and don't really like to share or take turns.

Some of the Bing series are tough to get in the U.S. -- unfortunately this is one of them. Like the rest of the Bing stories, this is a simple, sweet tale of toddleresque behavior -- Bing has a hard time sharing, feels angry, gets hurt, is comforted by a kiss from a friend. My 2 1/2 year old loves these books and they seem to really resonate with him.
