5.0 out of 5 stars love this concept
hmm, I haven't noticed that the crayon goes back in when the kid puts force on the point, but I don't question that it does,as I'm not often sitting there with her when she's coloring - more often than not I'm doing damage control around the house or trying to get a meal together. But other than that. The other second hand complaint I've heard is that my friend's...

I got a set of twistable crayons from a teacher supply store, and suddenly my 18-month old could color without the temptation of big wax crayons (oh so yummy!)... But other than that. The other second hand complaint I've heard is that my friend's daughter has figured out the twisty motion and just twists them up and promptly destroys them.

My daughter has yet to discover this feature. I just love that she can color and there's no broken crayons, no need to rip the paper to get to more crayon, there's always the same nice point at the tip. I loved them so much, I got small packs for all my friends with kids, which I recommend you do if you want to see if the product is for you. And just go to Target or Staples or whatever, no need to pay for shipping.
