I bought this for my 7 yr old G-Daughter for Christmas. When she unwrapped it she said "I WANTED ONE OF THESE!!!" She was thrilled! Her 9 yr old sister also loved it. They started playing with it right away without any help from adults. I definitely recommend this.

I was disappointed in this product. I bought it for my grandson, but then I found out that special paper had to be used. The directions also said to be careful that the colors might run! I bought it because of the "Crayola" name, but was not happy. I do not think it is suitable for a 6-7 year old boy unless an adult is present.

Great price; even came in cheaper than W/M. My granddaughter loves to draw and was thrilled to receive the gift for her b/day.

got this for my 7 year old daughter. it was easy to set up and once i showed her she was able to play with it on her own. the way it works is that the paper sheets have color blotches underneath a black coating. the pens erase the coating and the color shows through. I gave it 2 stars becuase even though it was fun at first making the different designs it was short lived. after about 7 or 8 sheets the ink in both pens started run dry. by the 10th sheet it really wasn't working so well. by the time she was done the ink pens (came with two) had pretty much run dry and she was left with extra paper. i would not recommend this product.

I DID READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING. I DECIDED I COULD GET IT, IF THE SPECIAL MARKERS STOPPED WORKING I COULD USE REGULAR PAPER AND COLORED MARKERS OR PENCILS. I JUST DIDN'T THINK THE MARKERS WOULD STOP WORKING HALFWAY THROUGH MY 2ND DESIGN!!!
WHEN THE PENS WORK, THE DESIGNS ARE AWESOME!! I EVEN LIKE THE DESIGNS USING COLORED PENCILS AND/OR MARKERS. BUT YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO EVEN GO THERE...

I bought this toy for my 9 yr. old Grandaughter, and she loves it. She is always playing with. And it allows her to use her imagination and be creative.

So, this product was fun at first, until the markers ran out during my first design. Despite using the cleaner thing, niether of the markers work very well. However, it would be fine with regular paper and regular pencils/markers/etc.
