This is an item out of my comfort zone. I may know a few things about electronic gadgets, since I enjoy reading about them and of course buying them as funds permit, but I haven't bought any binoculars for theater events before this. I have to say, these binoculars were everything we wanted and more! I think it's an excellent gift or even a personal purchase if you have tickets to an event and you want to ensure a great view from any seats.
They looked good too - of course, not that I have a lot of experience, but for my tastes (simple, elegant, and color preferences), this hit on all points. I'm not actually a fan of the gold color as much sometimes, but the gift recipient is so it worked out well. Great purchase and seems like a great deal here as well. By the way, for those complaining about magnification, they clearly list 3x magnification which is exactly what is delivered. That is plenty for this purpose, and I think it's typical. Anyway it's as advertised, so there should be no complaints. Also included adjustments for focus according to the recipient (I didn't try it myself).

They're a little hard to focus and secure in position, but once you get the hang of it things are fine. It's really nice to be able to zoom in on the principles when you want too. And the price is pretty good.

I received these in a timely manner. I had the play "Wicked" to attend and my seats were a little ways away, so i ordered these at almost the last minute. They came right away and I had them for the play! they worked perfectly! Thanks so much! I also bought season tickets that night for next season, so they will be used much!
