Slow, boring, uninteresting, and leaving one wondering what is happening.

In truth, my expectations for the low budget horror endeavor "Bio-Dead" were pretty limited. I'm happy to report that in almost all ways, the film was much more accomplished than I had anticipated. Working with a familiar concept, but casting effective actors and utilizing special effects moments with economy, the director has come up with a creepy new twist on the haunted house drama. Ostensibly set in the near future where a biological agent has wiped out approximately 12 million people, governmental agencies have hired crews to enter the contaminated zone to inventory casualties. The film charts the unpleasantness that awaits a team of four civilians on just such a detail. Having limited finances, the director astutely kept things on a small scale with almost all of the action contained within an abandoned building. Again, although the setting approximates a science fiction feeling (with post-apocalyptic undertones)--at heart, this is most akin to spending the night in a haunted house.

The movie begins with an extended sequence where we are introduced to the characters through voice alone. These scenes, filmed and filtered entirely through Hazmat suits, have a unsettling uniqueness. As the men remove their protective masks in a seemingly clean zone, they start to encounter strange occurrences and feelings within the building they are searching. It appears that they are not alone! But are the jerky and nightmarish visions real or are they a manifestation of some sort of delirium. The screenplay never delves too far into this question. It's an interesting choice that plays out well as the first two men succumb to the behavior altering scenario. But just as I was all in to this set-up, the movie shifts gears in a way inconsistent to what we have been presented with so far.

Slow, boring, uninteresting, and leaving one wondering what is happening. I only finished it because I paid for it. Spend your hard earned dollar elsewhere.

BIO-DEAD is a real dead film, shot in an office like many of us have or do work in, some of the "Dead" characters who all have japanese horror shakes actually remind me of real live people who I have dealt with in offices. My opinion of "BIO-DEAD" is very low in fact I highly recommend filing it in file 13. Once in more than enough. Do not buy this movie, it ain't bad that would be too nice a thing to say about it.

Should be re-titled, "BIO-CRAP"!

YES... I was stupid enough to pay $10 for this one!!! Save your time and money. Basically, below low budget film about 4 guys wondering around in an abandoned office building for almost an hour and a half.... like I said.... BORING!!!!!!! I'm sure the maker of this piece of crap thought it would be scary to have a bald blue skin guy show up here and there with a jittery shaking head, like we've seen many, many, many... many times before (like in "Fear.com" and so on...). Seen it!! Nothing new here, except more boredom. If you do decide to be unfortunate enough to watch this garbage, keep the remote close by... the Fast Forward button will come in handy. Recommended viewing time... less than 5 minutes (less than 1 min. is best)!!!!

This is one of those ones you wish you could join a class action suit against the maker and all those involved, just to get recovery for time, money, and not to mention pain and suffering!!!!

CAN I GET A REFUND???!!!!!
