Temperature biofeedback is based on the fact that when we relax, our hands and feet get warmer. The actual blood vessels relax and allow more warmth to flow from the core of the body to the extremities. Research has shown that we can learn to voluntarily warm our hands from within and this produces deep states of relaxation. I spent a good sum of money and I'm not sure this is accurate. The documentation provided with this was very poorly written, almost worthless. This is not a machine for anyone who is serious about biofeedback.
If I had a chance to do this again, I would not spend my money on this machine.
