Customer Reviews

The great news was how easy they were to install.

We're hoping this helps prevent some colds spreading from one kid to another... my wife said the house air felt like outside air.

The UV Light was easy to install and it completely eliminated the "dirty sock" smell that we were getting from our A/C unit.

I ordered one after seeing that costco sells these, thinking that usually means they're decent products. I was considering the honeywell one as well - I used to be an HVAC engineer and I know hospitals and government buildings install these in all buildings often. The fact that the light can blind you and burn your face makes me feel pretty good about it being effective against organics in the air. It didn't take long to install, about 15 minutes like it said - make sure to drill the hole a good 16 inches or so higher than where the refrigerant coils go into the unit to make sure you clear the coil - I drilled the first one a little low and had to do another higher to have a clear shot to put the bulb in. Plugged it in, the light on the ring came on... later that day I called my wife and she told me the house smelled better and it seemed easier to breathe. Things like the cat litter don't seem to smell as much either, might be in my head but I swear it's easier to breath. We're hoping this helps prevent some colds spreading from one kid to another... my wife said the house air felt like outside air. I think it's a good product and I'd buy it again.

We have used several different brands of Uv lights in our houses. This is one of the best. Does the job and even reduces dust in the house. It took about a week to really notice a difference. This bulb is longer than Honeywells and I think this is key. The unit itself is heavy duty.

I think these just just come standard in every hvac system. I started with one in my house, then put these in throughout my office. Employees are incredibly thankful during allergy season.

Very easy to install -- seems to work well when combined with air filters in rooms. It took my rooms down from 500 ppm to less than 100 ppm as measured by a Dylos meter.

Easy install, came with everything needed including hole saw. I have only had it for about a month and a half now, but my wife says the house smells less "doggy" whenever she comes home and they have been inside all day.

As we have two air conditioners I actually purchased two of these systems but regrettably before Amazon had them on-line--retail was $159.99. Grrr. Just the same my family is glad I bought them as my wife suffers from allergies and the kids always were getting colds. I was sold on the proven science of UV-C light killing the germs, old and allergens going through our HVAC system. The fact that they use a Phillips ultra-violet bulb assures me of high quality operation.

The great news was how easy they were to install. I installed one unit and my daughter installed the other and she is definitely not a DIY person. Both installs took less than 15 minutes. The company even supplies the drill bit needed for the installation.

Added bonus is that our system runs more efficiently without accumulated bio-film that would previously collect on the coils which is now killed off by the UV-C light.

Great Product!
We installed this yesterday and immediately the smell in our house improved and my breathing got better. I can breathe w/o feeling that I have that elephant sitting on top of my chest. When husband installed this yesterday, he immediately commented "Phswww" on the bad B.O. smell coming from the hole he'd cut in the metal housing in which to insert the sanitizer. I don't know what to call it. I told him from reading on websites, this was the mold inside of that part of the furnace (and being put into our house). We've been unable for years to keep fresh fruit or vegetables outside the refrigerator for more than a few days w/o it becoming moldy and rotten. Since I've never had that experience before in any other house, I'm suspecting it was due to the mold floating in the air. I will run an experiment to see if there is any difference now.

When he left to fill some prescriptions and returned to the house, he said it smelt like Fabreeze when he walked in. What a wonderful thing to have said about your home.

He called just now to get the exact name/cost to tell the people at work about this wonderful product.
I highly recommend this product.
