This product is nothing more than powder bleach. After the procedure, all I could smell was bleach. Not sure it did anything else but smell. After a day the RV had the old smell again.

We bought a motor home from 1981 that had barely been used but had sat for quite a while - there is a strong musty smell - we have tried everything from chemicals to dehumidifiers, shampooers, etc.. We heard about the RV Shocker and tried it - it smelled great for about 3 days - it took all of the smell away and smelled a little like chlorine but so much better than it was. After the 3 days the smell came back - I chose only 3 stars because it only took care of the odor problem for 3 days I guess it was too old and smelly for this product - good luck :)

Last spring I moved into a 1972 Airstream that, judging from the smell, had been smoked in nearly all of those years. I removed carpeting and all cloth/fiber..scrubbed every surface, ceiling, wlals, shelves etc with bleach and it still smelled. I live at the beach so there is always a bit of damp. I used RV shocker as a last resort, only had 6 hours for it to work before dark. Worked like a dream! Even when it is rainy and damp the smell does not return. Was a little chlorine-y at first but an hour of open windows took care of that. Am ordering again for the used car I just bought.
