2.0 out of 5 stars Very technical
This book may be helpful to some, but I found it to be way over my head. It is extremely technical. I would not have bought it if I had known this. I only understood about 25 percent of what he is saying. I have a legal background -- not medical or technical. I gave it to my Lyme doctor. He flipped through it and found it interesting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Electromagnetic Healing Technologies, July 27, 2004
This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
Author, Scientist, and former U.S. Patent Engineer, Dr. Tom Valone has taken on the extremely difficult task of organizing and explaining the array of alternative medical technologies which have been developed over the years in Electromagnetic and Light Healing Technologies. Many of the fascinating devices described and scientifically documented were remarkably successful in curing otherwise terminal medical conditions such as cancer. Because they operated outside the boundaries of the scientific and medical paradigms of the times, the remarkable healing effectiveness of these pioneering technologies were often disavowed by the Medical authorities of the times.
This little book is packed full of descriptions, historical details, and technical data on these fascinating healing devices and technologies. It thus is a thououghly excellent resource of obscure information which is unavailable elsewhere. I would thus highly recommend it as a basic reference manual for anyone interested in Alternative Healing Technologies. Elliott Maynard, Ph. D., President, Arcos Cielos Research Center, Sedona, Arizona.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Concise Reference for Scientists, Engineers, Practitioners, January 16, 2005

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
Whether you are investigating therapeutic electromagnetic devices, designing them, or using them in a practice, Dr. Thomas Valone's book is a marvelous reference to use as a concise introduction to some of the most cutting-edge ideas that have been tried and tested, as well as the underlying understanding of how and why they work. Healing practitioners will find it especially useful to use to educate their clients regarding novel healing technologies that they may choose to use. A "must-read" for medical students as a companion to Dr. Robert O. Becker's book The Body Electric to comprehend the body in "bioelectromagnetic" terms and become aware of the host of technologies "out there" and available to us today, including their history and evolution. Valone is careful to footnote and reference his sources of information, pointing to plenty of sources for further reading. The book includes graphs of scientific data, diagrams illustrating the principles of operation of various bioelectromagnetic therapies, and photographs of numerous devices. Low-key, straight-forward reading: no hype. Dr. Valone's engineering background has allowed him to take a fresh look at these otherwise complex technologies and convey a concise overview of them in very readable way, carefully explaining technical terms along the way. I've toted the book to science conferences with me, and inevitably my colleagues in physics and materials science all take down the reference. Well-worth the purchase - I have had to purchase several copies because I loan them out to colleagues and friends and they don't come back!

4.0 out of 5 stars healing with energy not drugs, December 7, 2004
This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
This is an excellent lay review of the subject of Bioelectromagnetics written in an easy to understand language.
Although this is a complex subject the reader is not required
to have a background in engineering or biology to understand
the clearly explained scientific research in this new and exciting area of research. This book is somewhat unique in that
it also covers subjects not typically discused in a book of this type. For example Dr. Valone talks about the fascinating subject
that the body is sensitive to visible light (a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum) and that the body also emits visible light. Most reviewers only cover the lower frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum. Thus this book is easy to read and comprehensive and can therefore be highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bioelectromagnetic Protocols, October 15, 2007

This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
One of the best books that I have ever read on Electo-medicine. It outlines the pioneers in Electromagnetic protocols and serves as a reference book describing the contributions of top researchers in the field. The book is only 126 pages but is packed with useful, interesting and highly detailed information and includes pictures. If a person has any health problems read this book. It describes may proven treatments that are suppressed by the AMA, FDA and big Pharma but refuse to go away because they do work. The book is very well documented, easy to understand and comprehensive. Actual devices are listed and the locations where they can be purchased. Many of the highly effective treatments are not expensive, non-evasive and above all safe. Cures actually do exist for many very serious diseases.
Great Book: A+++++++++++++++++++++

4.0 out of 5 stars The electronic future of Medicne, November 7, 2007

This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
Between 1900 and 1930 many medical breakthroughs were discovered. May the men like Tesla, Rife, Lackovsky and Priore who's invaluable work in the field of electo-medicine soon gain the recognition they deserve. These men and many others were the self-less pioneers seeking to cure and enhance health for the benefit of mankind.

Enough cannot be written on this subject because the subject matter is based on truth!!! We are simply like everything in creation an electronic frequency.

Thank you, Jerry Nowacki, CNC, CHC

This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
An intelligent discussion of bioelectromagnetic healing. Also, a product listing of reputable companies. I have purchased two of the products and have resolved my chronic health issues. Thank you to Thomas Valone for getting this information to the public.

This review is from: Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rationale for its Use (Paperback)
Bioelectromagnetic Healing: A Rational for its Use, is a natural followup to the book, Body Electric, which sets the stage for ones understanding of the healing processes explained in the Bioelectromagnetic Healing (BH) book.

The unimaginable number of functional BH devices designed over the years and patented, were unknown to me. Our medical system in the USA has swept these BH devices under the rug for years, for the benefit of making expensive drugs to perpetuate the big pharmaceutical business model. Electromagnetic healing is inexpensive and without side effects. The USA's use of electromagnetic devices to aid body healing is barley starting into its infancy, although these devices have been utilized for many years around the world. I have personally benefited from BH to aid in back muscle strain, which was noninvasive and seemingly worked like magic, to heal muscle scar tissue. This BH book is a valuable source of knowledge and history in this field of study.
