This review is from: Bioethical Decision Making for Nurses (Paperback)
Thompson and Thompson's "Bioethical Decision Making for Nurses" is an outstanding example of a book that provides not only a theoretical basis for bioethical perspectives but a concise and articulate bioethical decision making model appropriate not only for nurses (as the title would imply) but also for other health care professionals such as physicians and midwives as well. The bioethical decision making process is aptly illustrated with the use of case studies which contribute to the reader's understanding of the application of this 10 step process. I highly recommend this book to health care professionals who face ethical decisions each day in practice, education and research.
