Better than most introductions! Not superficial!,
This review is from: Bioethics: Introduction to History, Methods, and Practice (Paperback)
The 2nd edition is an excellent introduction to the field of bioethics, which avoids the simplicity that many introductions show. It covers the history of the field, methods of ethics case analysis, cultural assumptions, and much more. I recommend this for advanced undergraduates, graduate/professional students, and the educated layperson who is interested in bioethical issues. The book functions well as a stand alone text for classes.
