This book is one of my favorite textbooks. It is chok-full of detailed information that is assembled coherently and thoughtfully divided between chapters. But perhaps this book's biggest asset is the illustrations and diagrams. They facilitate learning very well and it is clear alot of thought and effort was put into them. One could easily develop a basic understanding of the subject just from reading the book itself, with no need for further explanations from instructors-that is the sign of a really good book.

This book is spacey, hard to follow, and is lacking in luster. A better book to get for your course is Biological Psychology by Kalat. his explanations are easy to understand and he includes enough information so that your paragraph isn't filled with unnecessary vocab terms. This book is a complete waste of time and leaves a lot for interpretation. If it's required for your class, make sure you buy study guides and other informational material, or never ever miss a class session. I have had physics books that are easier to understand and better written than this magnificent piece of intellectualization. My advice, if this book is required, wait for a better teacher.

I'd only recommend this if you have a substantial background in chemistry and the anatomy of the brain. The barrage of information is very overwhelming if you're not prepared and don't have significant prior knowledge of the subjects within.

Came in excellent condition as described- it was still in the original plastic wrapping! Shipped right after the order was placed.

the product came in within the time range but about a week or so later than the rest that i had ordered at the same time. this company is in the UK so if you need it in a hurry then you may want to consider this.

First two chapters of the book fell out. Wasn't as good as shape as listed.
