About the Author
STEVE KLEIN is Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology at Mississippi State University, USA. He has written numerous articles on the biological basis of learning and memory and is the author of six other textbooks. B. MICHAEL THORNE is Professor Emeritus in the Psychology Department at Mississippi State University, USA. He has published numerous articles on biological psychology, history of psychology, and teaching of psychology and is the senior author of two other textbooks.

Do not order the "paperback edition" thinking wow, it's much cheaper. The paperback edition is the study guide, not the textbook.

Excellent book,

I use this book to teach an advanced level undergraduate course, and it has been terrific. It simplifies the material so that it is easy to understand without oversimplification which has been traditionally the problem with such introductory texts. Overall, high marks for Klein and Thorne's well-designed well-written text. It makes teaching and learning the material a breeze. My students have also positively commented on this text.
