He has written numerous articles on the biological basis of learning and memory and is the author of six other textbooks. B. MICHAEL THORNE is Professor Emeritus in the Psychology Department at Mississippi State University, USA. He has published numerous articles on biological psychology, history of psychology, and teaching of psychology and is the senior author of two other textbooks.
