great book for learning basic biological systems
I used this book in a zoology course freshman year; however, it is still an active reference for overview in many of my upper biology couse. I would suggest it for anyone wanting a starting point in the biological sciences.

Disappointed
I waited about 4 weeks only to receive a book with the incorrect edition and that appears to be taken off the shelves of a dusty basement. I requested the 7th edition, but I was given the 4th. Thank God my professor still acknowledges this book. I would return this text; however, I'm well in the 8th week of college. My faith in buying books online has been diminished.
