This is my first science textbook since I've been a university student for two years. I have to say, compared to my high school textbook this is a blessing. I needed it for a non-major/GE course and was scared that it might over complicate the basics. I admit that I was completely wrong. It condenses and presents the basics of college level bio for any student who is not a science buff. The end of chapter self quizzes help you to check if you need to reread certain sections. All in all, a great textbook if it is a required material=) (Maybe even if its NOT required)

I got my book in good time, it was the right addition, and it was in very good condition!

I paid half price here for what the book would have cost in my school book store, this site is part of what makes college affordable.

I'm a history major and only a few chapters into this book and already confused out of my mind. Does NOT simplify things at all.

binding lose in spots but so far it has not been a issue other than that it seems ok fast delivery

I RENTED this book for my kindle. I did not recive the Aplia access code to do the course work. Contacted Amazon they told me i would have to contact the publisher. Contacted the publisher they told me to contact Amazon. So I called Amazon again and they informed me when you rent a book you dont get the access code. Even though it stated in the book discription you did. I feel as though I was mislead, now i have to return the book and buy it for double the price. Not really saving me any money using a ereader for textbooks.

This is my first science book I bought from Amazon, and I have to say I have no complaints. The book was cheaper than what my college bookstore offered and it came earlier than the expected arrival date. Overall, a good experience!

I order this book for my grandaughter. She received it withing the 24hrs, on a Saturday. She called me with book in hand, now she can do her homework.

While this book was decent and at a decent price, It took forever to get to me -- two weeks. I bought it for school, and was a week into needing my books by the time I got it.

I am still waiting for this book. It is going to be over a month since I ordered. I will never order anything else. Bad mistake to order from you, I even had to buy the book again so my daughter coud have the book tfor her class...
