From Library Journal
Weiner and Brown take an unusual approach to productivity and job satisfaction by looking at how we physically interact with our coworkers and work environment. The authors are "futurists" who, through their research on trends, came to recognize the importance of the workplace in our lives. They cover a broad range of topics, including sensory perceptions, biorhythms, mental and physical differences between men's and women's approach to work, ergonomics, stress management, and cybernetics. The authors offer suggestions for coping with situations that they predict will become prevalent in the future. Although some of this material has been covered before, the combined study of managerial and biological factors is both different and useful. Recommended for all collections.
