This book is fabulous. It contains all the info you need, but none of the trifling details you don't. It is college-level but so much clearer than Campbell.

This is a pretty good study guide because it goes over all topics that are necessary for building a foundation of knowledge in biology. Some include ecology, five kingdoms, energy pathways, reproduction etc. If you want to know the kind of quesitons that professors ask on college bio exams buy:
The Ultimate Study Guide for Biology: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations by Patrick Leonardi This study guide comes in three volumes. Each one is equally effective in test preparation. These four books helped me to get much better grades than I expected. |
