We only read textbooks because there is a figurative gun to our head, so reviewing them is kind of silly. But as textbooks go, at least I learned from this one. Crazy things like why bread is called a carbohydrate (carbon and hydrogen, don't know why I never put that together before). It's got about a million pictures, and they are pretty useful. I took the class online, so everything I learned was from the book without a teacher, so that speaks well of it.

Still, this stuff is pretty dense and difficult, so it's not exactly a "fun read."
