This review is from: Advances in Biomedical Sensing, Measurements, Instrumentation and Systems (Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering) (Hardcover)
I ordered this book hoping to use it in a course this fall, because there is a great need for a graduate level book on this topic. The grammar in this book is so poor, I wonder if the authors used a computer based English translator. In some places the word structure is so awkward that it is impossible to understand the point that the authors are making. The technical level is mixed, but generally very low and details are vague. I realize that this is a collection of lecture topics, but it is possible to put together such a book in a cohesive manner.
I give the book two stars instead of one, because there is some good discussion, particularly on wearable devices. I would suggest that you save your money and collect a series of review papers from the journals. |
