Everything you ever wanted to know about Nitric Oxide!!,

As a medical student I was assigned a paper to write regarding the effects of nitric oxide within the body. To my surprise most of my friends and colleagues seemed to know very little about the topic and only seemed to know some of the broad generalities (i.e., vasodilation, gaseous, L-arganine etc). It wasn't until I stumbled upon this text that I truly came to appreciate the magnitude and diversity of this signaling molecule. The text starts out rather simple and holds your hand into the complex and cutting edge stuff (like NO's relationship to music!?). I would recommend this book to anyone interested in nitric oxide for research or academic purposes. |
