I just bought this unit, and I like it very much! It is VERY quiet and very efficient. The only drawback is that is has a maximum humidity setting of 65%, but I slept better than I have in weeks since my old Hamilton Beach humidifier died.

This humidifier is useless and ridiculously loud. You really can't use it on aany setting higher than low because it sounds like a jet taking off. I've had it running for four days and it has yet to move the humidity level more than 3%. From the minute I started using this unit it reported that the wick needed replacement. I'll be sending it back and buying a Vornado to replace it.
