This is a pretty cool heater for the price. I purchased this heater for my bedroom but the one problem I have with it, is that it is very loud. Some heaters are only loud when you first turn it on but this hover seems to go at it the whole entire time. For the price I can't complain much. Its light weight and heats up pretty fast. Somehow the heat seems to circulate around my bedroom rapidly. Another positive is that I have dropped it about 4-5 times already since I got it. I had it placed on my desk in my bedroom and when I tripped on the cord jumping off my bed the thing fell. Surprisingly the unit is still functioning just the way I first purchased it. Its pretty sturdy and at this price I would recommend it over other heaters. Not only is it sturdy but when it falls it won't get your carpet on fire. I also like the digital aspect of this unit. Very portable, basically no complaints other than the noise it makes. Recommended for small bedrooms.

Just wanted to update that I'm still using this heater. Its about the best heater I've had in a long time. It has been almost one year and this heater has fallen off my desk about a hundred times and its still going. I would recommend this because of the durability. This is a good buy!

Though I find the heat output and digital readout just fine on this heater the fan sounds like a 747 at takeoff. The fan noise doesn't let up. If not for the fan this would be a five star product. If your home is already noisy or you have a high tolerance for loudness this heater is the one for you.

We bought this heater to help out with some cold areas of our house, including our family room and our 2 year old's bedroom. It does an OK job of heating, and the ocillating feature is very nice, but it's very loud. In order to get ant real heating effect out of this thing, you'll really need to set it on the higher heat setting (1500 watts). It is extremely loud. The thermostat regulates the temperature on the heater, but the constant turning on and off is very annoying. Otherwise does an OK job.

Who would have thought that an electric heater that is this small could be this loud! When I read the reviews written by others on this page, I assumed it would be noisy. But this unit is beyond noisy - it is nearly jet engine LOUD. So loud in fact, that for the last two nights it has awakend me when it kicked on.

It is a very functional unit. And I love the digital controls and the nightlight feature. It works great and heats a cold room in a hurry. But, sadly, I can not recommend it because of the EXTREME noise that it puts out.

This heater is relatively small, fitting into an equally small space. It produces a very satisfactory heat output. Where I live (in the Arizona high-desert), it's very hot during the summer but also very cold during the winter. I fully expect to have a warm, pleasant winter with this particular heater.

I bought this for a roommate and can only relay that there has been no problems. It keeps the room toasty and no problems with temp control.

After a year, it stopped heating and now is a cooler instead? I just expected it to last longer for the price.
