I can't stand this heater, August 2, 2008
This review is from: Bionaire BFH3430-U Power Heater with Galileo (Kitchen)
We bought this heater for our 2 year old son's room about 6 months ago. We've had problems with it for a couple of months. He underheats or overheats the room by about 12 degrees about once a week. We live in San Franciso, it gets to 55 degrees at night in the Summer. It is frequently 60 degrees in his room when the heater is set at 71 degrees. Recently, the overheating has gotten bad. It is now 3am. He woke up and woke up my wife, our 4 month old and I because it is 87 degrees in his room with the heater set at 71 degrees. I no longer feel safe with this product in my house.

Lousy unit - Don't waste your money, November 30, 2006
This review is from: Bionaire BFH3430-U Power Heater with Galileo (Kitchen)
First of all the fan is very noisy. I bought 2 of them. The first one, the remote unit did not talk to the main unit. The second one, the room temperature was off by over 10 degrees and the remote kept going in and out. It claimed that the battery was low but, I replaced it twice with 2 new sets. I wound up buying a Vornado look and act alike. It has a digital thermometer and is quiet for half the price.

BEST LITTLE HEATER ON THE MARKET, April 10, 2008
This review is from: Bionaire BFH3430-U Power Heater with Galileo (Kitchen)
I have bought 3 of these units and they work great. Small heaters but put out a lot of heat. The remote control works very accurate and the thermometer is within .2 degrees of my room digital unit. One heater I have had for over four years and I bought 2 more for friends with very positive remarks. The unit remote uses 3 AAA batteries not 2 as in the ad. The heater says bionaire but is made by Holmes. 5 stars easy.
