- Anatomical Relief Pad System: The hand has natural peaks and valleys determined by the placement of the bones. Typically the high points of the bone rub against tools and equipment, causing blisters, calluses, and fatigue. Bionic gloves are designed to solve this problem with strategically placed pads in the glove, that eliminate the peaks and valleys--evening the surface of the hand--to result in improved grip strength, reduced hand fatigue, and reduced friction--to virtually eliminate calluses and blisters.

I hate callouses. They are ugly and, when they tear off, painful. Unfortunately, when lifting free weights they are a common occurrence. I presently use GoFit Women'S Pearl Tac Weightlifting Gloves With Interactive 12-Week Training Cd-Rom for training purposes; they are thin and do not provide much comfort or gripping power. So, I was eager to try out the gloves by Bionic.
My first impression can be described in one word: snug. I ordered the small size glove and I wish I had bumped up to a medium. I'm going to make the small size work, but I would have avoided disappointment had I just went with a medium. If you take a tape measure and measure around your knuckles, the following information, taken from Bionic's website, should give you an idea of your appropriate glove size:
6 1/4" - 7" = Small
7 1/4" - 7 3/4" = Medium
7 3/4" - 8" =Large
8" - 8 1/4" = XL
The circumference of my hand at the knuckle is 7". My advice to you is that if you are in doubt and you are right on the edge of the next size, bump up.
Other than ordering a somewhat less than desirable size, I think the gloves are very well-made. They are leagues ahead of my GoFit gloves. The Bionic gloves have:
1) Padding - what a concept. My GoFit gloves might as well be very thin socks -- they have no grip and don't protect the hands. These gloves have a very nice textured, padded surface.
2)a stylish design in a good color -- The gloves are predominately black. My GoFit gloves are light pink and grey but look black from rubbing against weights. The black of the Bionic gloves should hide some of the dirt and grease that is present in a lifting environment. The bit of pink on the glove adds a bit of femininity. The Bionic gloves are machine washable but must be air dried.
3)Lined with coolmax - The interior of the gloves are lined with coolmax, which helps keep your hands dry.
I've tried these gloves twice while deadlifting and liked them. While the gloves were snug, I found them to be flexible. I could move my fingers and my grip felt stronger. They provided some awesome padding. So, after very limited use, my assessment is that the Bionic gloves are well-constructed, help improve grip, and protect the user's hands.
These gloves are made in Indonesia.

I've been lifting for over 20 years, and have tried many different types/brands of work out gloves. These are the best that I've used to date by far. Unlike the other leather/suede gloves I've used in the past which seem to stretch over time and become "bulky" not to mention that sweaty leather smell...these gloves truly fit like a "hand and glove" should be. It's also a very attractive design. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is, because it does fit so nice and snug, it's a bit more challenging to take off! But I still LOVE them! : )

I have really small hands so it's always difficult to find gloves that fit. These were perfect. The only issue is when you've been working out hard you end up having to "peel" it off your hand and it usually ends up inside out. Other than that, no problem here.
