Amazon.com

The heavy-duty Tough Pro work gloves from Bionic are built to support and protect your hands and joints from punishing outdoors work. The Tough Pro gloves are constructed with top-grade, supple goatskin leather with added padding in the palms to stand up to constant use. The gloves are further reinforced at the thumbs, fingertips, and palms with silicone material. The Tough Pro gloves feature unique padding that helps absorb shock and take the sting out of vibrating power tools, lawn mowers, and tractors. Meanwhile, strategically placed anatomical relief pads even out the hands' surface to remove the friction that cause blisters and callous build-up. With Motion Zones over the knuckles and Web Zones between the fingers, the Tough Pro gloves support the hands' natural dexterity while allowing them to breathe and release heat. Finally, for a second-skin feel and grip-support, the gloves offer a pre-rotated finger design that further enables natural finger movement--for a confident grip on your toughest jobs.

The Tough Pro gloves allow you to perform demanding and punishing jobs without sacrificing your hands.
Exclusive Glove Technology--Developed by an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to:
Reduce Hand Fatigue--Increase Grip Strength--and--Support the Hand's Natural Dexterity
  • Anatomical Relief Pad System: The hand has natural peaks and valleys determined by the placement of the bones. Typically the high points of the bone rub against tools and equipment, causing blisters, calluses, and fatigue. Bionic gloves are designed to solve this problem with strategically placed pads in the glove, that eliminate the peaks and valleys--evening the surface of the hand--to result in improved grip strength, reduced hand fatigue, and reduced friction--to virtually eliminate calluses and blisters.
  • Pre-Rotated Finger Design: Because your forefinger and pinky naturally rotate inward toward the center of your hand when grasping an object, Bionic gloves feature a pre-rotated design that follows the natural motion of your fingers, to offer a comfortable, second-skin feel, and natural movement when gripping.
  • Web and Motion Zones:
The hands combine 14 phalanx bones as well as large number of tendons and muscles to allow for an intricate range of motion and dexterity. Bionic gloves offer Motion Zones over the knuckles, and Web Zones between the fingers, made of stretchable and breathable Lycra to provide greater flexibility, support the hand's natural dexterity, and keep the hands cool and dry.

It's only been a few months but so far they seem to be holding up great and look nearly new.

I use these gloves in a box assembly plant for international companies. I handle wood of all varieties and sizes, and at my previous job I worked in the commercial loading area for Lowe's Home Improvement. I could eat gloves for breakfast, but I finally met my match.

These gloves are tough, yet fit flexible and fit remarkably well. The leather is excellent quality, the material components carefully placed in areas the hand needs flexibility. When this noted it was made by a hand doctor, you better believe it. Someone obviously knew what parts were needed in what areas. They fit well and breath easily. When most of my other gloves got holes, these stood up. I bought these March 13th, and I have them even now on April 20th with no holes anywhere. I can also use all types of power tools without problem from chainsaws to power drills. However, if you want to screw something rapidly you'd best take them off. You can pick up small objects, but with any gloves, it's usually better to do it gloveless. In this regard, I won't hold it against the gloves specifically.

However, I am starting to see failures in certain components, particularly the silicon finger guards and on the palm silicon area so far as the THREADING is concerned. The threading is either starting to fray or, in the case of the fingers, is gone completely. I imagine this is because of normal wear and tear, but the silicon reinforcements are no longer sewn to the leather, making them prone to catching on things at times. I imagine this will, in time, increase the rate at which they deteriorate.

I would also like to note that the thumbs could have been a little bit shorter. This is particularly annoying on my right hand, as the thumb seems to have been sewn on poorly.

I'm a beverage delivery driver and bought these gloves thinking they were tough and would last a long time. I have to stock shelves and racks with bottles and constantly wear out the finger tips. every glove I try do not last and theses were no different. to expensive to have them wear out this fast. Although the first couple days new, they felt great on my hands and I thought these were perfect, but they were no different in lasting durability.

I got these in late May after my last pair of gloves fell apart. These gloves have been holding up well so far. I use them for all of my outdoor work around the house. That includes working with dirt, sand, stone, tree and bush trimming, mowing, weedwacking, weeding and watering. The plastic finger tips have come unstitched at this point, however it appears there is leather underneath them so no dirt has come through. Otherwise, there does not appear to be any other failures. The gloves can be pretty warm on hot days. There is not a lot of ventilation in them so that is expected. Hopefully they will at least last me through next season. We will see...

As an update to my previous review above, now it's November and I have worn a hole in the right thumb. Unfortunately, it appears that these gloves do not hold up to normal wear and tear. I'm going to look into returning them...

Over the many decades (4) I've spent in the garden, I've worn out more garden gloves than I care to admit. However, these gloves have hung in there with me longer than any others and I love them. Make no mistake, they will wear out however you have to work at it.

I have large hands and dislike shopping for gloves as they all have the same design flaw. What flaw? Glad you asked, the flaw is a fit or rather a function issue. When one opens his large hand in a large glove the backside (heel) of the thumb always prevents the thumb from fully extending (opening). Combine that with the lack if relief on the inside (webbing) and you have a recipe for hand fatigue. Now for the good. These gloves have an odd name they look more like driving gloves than work gloves. However, they are all business, when you grasp a tool for the first time wearing these gloves you will feel the difference. The finger tips have a tough rubberized surface that was surprisingly grippy but, do not collect dirt, the finger pads seem to enhance ones grip when handling tools. Were it not for the webbed thumb issue I would have rated the gloves a perfect 10.5 they are a nice big hand fit when the hand is relaxed. Fingers are deep so there is room for the long fingered wearer. My hands are not fat just big and theses gloves are are the best i've worn and are almost there.

These gloves are absolutely fantastic. The quality of the leather is second to none. They really are washable. The strategically placed silicone pads help immensely for good grip. And if you've never gripped a hand or power tool with a bionic glove before you're really missing out. They're supposed to help people with arthritis but believe me, you don't have to have arthritis to appreciate the thought and science that went into the design of these gloves. And no I don't work for the company.

Was having some hand strength/fatigue issues at the time and knew I had to do a lot of construction for a few days. Bought some driving ones for my mother's arthritic hands, thought they might work for me. They did, my hands didn't even feel tired. I was blown away. Highly recommend.
