It is a time for rejoicing. The Matoran have rediscovered their original homeland, Metru Nui, and are preparing to return there for the first time in 1000 years. It is also a time for secrets to be revealed, as the six Turaga who rule the island of Mata Nui reveal that they too were once Toa, and guardians of Metru Nui. There they uncovered the treachery of Makuta, but were too late to stop him from plunging both the Matoran and the Great Spirit into unending sleep.

Horrible binding on paperback versions.,

I made the mistake of not reading some of the other reviews; don't do the same! The binding falls apart in one to two days. This is a total shame. The kids love these books and I didn't pay attention to which ones were paperback and which were hardback. The one hardback that I purchased (book #9) seems to be holding up well, and I wish I had purchased all of them as hardbacks. In fact I consider the lost money as a lesson in reading reviews and item descriptions. The kids love these books so much, I have since purchased them again but in hardback of course. In summary, do not buy the paperback!

Bionicle book,

My son loves anything bionicle, he has a friend with them also and they play with them for hours. He likes all the books and has read them all, some more than once. He is looking forward to more movies.
