Surprisingly good game play,

This review is from: Bionicle: The Game (Video Game)
I had a chance to preview this game recently and I was not expecting much. Lego's previous electronic games (mostly for the PC) have been bloated platforms with terrible graphics and so-so game play. However, this title is a complete turnaround from the previous examples. My 8-year-old is gonna LOVE this game!

Perfect game for young Bionicle fans,

My 6 year old son is a Bionicle fan, and he also loves platform-style games, so this title is a perfect fit. I think that, for the target audience, the game is well done. It is short; my son beat it in two days all by himself (except for two fights that I did for him). It might be better if it were priced in the thirty dollar range, because of the length. But there is a good mix of action/platforming gameplay involved, and it never gets too difficult. If you die, you just restart the section you were on, with no penalty, no limit on "lives", nothing. Very kid-friendly. Argonaut Games also created the excellent I-Ninja, so there's a quality developer behind the title. The graphics are not really up to Xbox standards, but for a multi-platform release they are serviceable and do have some nice lighting effects. The story also ends up reflecting events in the Mask of Light DVD movie, so if you're familiar with that, it will add another dimension to the game for you. Bottom line: if you are wondering if this game is worth your money, I say yes if you are buying it for a younger Bionicle fan. It's a game he or she will enjoy and will actually finish in a few days (how many unfinished games do you have sitting on your shelf?)

Great... but where is the sequel?,

This game helps bring the real BIONICLE lover to life. It is great for people who have been a fan of BIONICLE for a long time. It also is great for youngsters.
The only question is... when is the sequel coming out? I think that they should come out with a sequel. I love this game but this only involves the first toa's experience. What about the Vahki, The Toa Metru and so on. This game is great but it also needed some imrovements. 2115|R1WXQPG4HY16AS;2115|R1B1DOUT8FZXTG;2115|R94VB75ETI8F4;
