The city of Metri Nui, long peaceful under the reign of Turaga Dume, was under attack. For the past month, a vicious plant called the Morbuzakh had been terrorizing the edges of town, destroying buildings and making Matoran vanish without a trace. The enforcers of order, the Vahki, could do little to stop the spread of the Morbuzakh, and the Toa who guarded the city had gone on missions from which they never returned. Only Toa Lhikan was left, and when he saw two Dark Hunters in the city – a familiar being named Nidihiki and his partner Krekka – he became extremely worried. Now, it’s up to Toa Lhikan to bring forth the next generation of Toa to save Metru Nui.

Wonderful for those Lego fans! My 8 year old son is enjoying many in the series Bionicle Graphic Novels, as this one here....the book is the perfect size..the images are colorful and high quality.

I made the mistake of not reading some of the other reviews; don't do the same! The binding falls apart in one to two days. This is a total shame. The kids love these books and I didn't pay attention to which ones were paperback and which were hardback. The one hardback that I purchased (book #9) seems to be holding up well, and I wish I had purchased all of them as hardbacks. In fact I consider the lost money as a lesson in reading reviews and item descriptions. The kids love these books so much, I have since purchased them again but in hardback of course. In summary, do not buy the paperback!
