I have been taking the supplement for 4 years and it really works. I find I sleep better, wake up better, and have more balance in my day. When I am stressed, driving long distances, or over-tired, I take 2 capsules a day, and normally I take one. If you go to their website, you can get 6 bottles for $20 a bottle, which is about a year supply. I do not think Amoryn is the only supplement you should take, but it is the only one I won't miss each day. It has never upset my stomach and I take it in the morning with water. Some people say it is too stimulating to take at night. Taking a good C and B Complex, along with magnesium and iron is important. I have always been pleased with the company and its' product. You need to take it for at least 2-3 weeks before you notice a difference. It may be so subtle that you don't realize it. I become calmer and more rested soon after taking it.

This item seems to help just about as well as the different prescription meds I've tried, without the dreaded sexual side effects.

I really don't even understand why there exist anti-depressants. 5htp and St. John Wort are just more potent, effective and side-effectless than medical anti depressants.
The thing about this product is that it's just too expensive. 5 htp and St. John's Wort (the ingredients of Amoryn) can be bought separately and it would still have the same effectiveness as Amoryn but it would be way cheaper.

The product works, but buying St. John's Wort and 5 Htp separately will get you the same result and it would be cheaper.

I would still recommend this product!

I have high blood pressure and had to discontinue using Amoryn and any product containing SJW. SJW causes blood pressure to increase in some individuals. Use this product only if you are completely healthy without high blood pressure.

This product helped me to sleep. I was stressed and anxious and I slept like a baby after taking Amoryn. There was no "hangover" the next morning either!

I think that people suffering from mild depression would benefit from trying Amoryn. I think everyone responds differently to these meds, so for some it might not work but others it might be just enough. I've been on a bunch of different medications like Prozac, Paxil, klonopin, Celexa, and Xanax and always felt annoyed by some sort of side effect (weight gain, dizziness, etc). When I took Amoryn at first I didn't think I felt much, but then realized a lot of my depressive mood swings seemed to be fewer and fewer. I take one pill a day and that seems to keep me even.

I was able to counteract the nausea this product caused by eating a solid breakfast that was low in acid (no orange juice, coffee etc.). I was okay with the headaches that came and went more often. Tylenol and a couple glasses of water works wonders.

The positive effect to my mood was worth a couple mild inconveniences that altered my diet or lifestyle slightly.

It was like I was slowly waking from a dark, heavy sleep.

Unfortunately, as the fog is lifting, I need to discontinue Amoryn. It has way to much vitamin b6. At 1000% daily per pill (recomended to take 2-4 daily) it doesn't really exceed the maximum dosage of 100mg. However, after a few weeks of taking this product, my skin would start tingling when I would step into cool water. It felt like a had a sunburn when the wind blew. If I stubbed my toe or bumped my hand on something, It felt like I had cut off an arm! It makes me too sensitive to everything. It doesn't make my skin bruise or break...just feel pain more acutely.

I would still recomend this product, though for me, I guess I need to find a substitute product/s that have significantly less b6 vitamin, which, by the way, in excess can cause irreversible damage to your nerves.

I am not very happy with this I started to breakout with blochs all over my body the second pill in, soo i stopped it, it would be great to get my money back, but i have already opened it.

I've been taking this product for over 2 weeks now. It has helped relieve my anxiety and helped me to sleep better. However, I've noticed that I want to cry about even stupid little things now. I never cried that much before taking this medication.

I've suffered from depression and anxiety sense I was a little kid (I was abused) and I've searched for non-prescription antidepressants for years . This product won't stop the attacks , but it will slow them down . By the time I write this , I'll be on my second bottle , and I have to admit I do feel normal , but last night , I had an attack . If you can , find a real doctor to help you , and use this as a "helper" to the medication he would give you .
