I've spent up to $50/jar on similar products and not found one as sheer/matte texture and that didn't burn my skin. Biore will hold off the oil on even the worst days at least for the working hours until I can get home and relax or redo for evening. This product seems almost to draw out the oil, trap it until you wash, and help keep the pores from getting plugged as well as seems to help prepare a good surface for makeup. I'm so disappointed that the local shops have stopped carrying it! I'm in my early 40's but have been using it since it came out and it's such a wonder! I need a moisturizer like I never did when I was younger but I still have oily skin. They keep making it and I'll stay a loyal customer!

Gotta join the majority on this one. I really like the moisturizer. Been using this for about a week and my face is dramatically less oily looking at the end of the day. Wish it was sold in stores though.

I have primarily the oily t-zone so makeup tends to become shiny in this area, but not with this product.Only draw-back is it is difficult to find in some retail stores.

I have sensitive and oily skin, and this is the best facial lotion/moisturizer I have ever found. It is very light-weight and breathable, so it applies smoothly and evenly. It works great under makeup (no sticking or dragging). It doesn't include sunscreen, which might be one of the reasons its texture is so smooth, so if you'll be out in the sun a lot, consider some extra protection. I've used this moisturizer everyday for a long time, and it has done a lot for my complexion. Sadly, I don't think Biore carries this product anymore. I no longer see it in stores, and I haven't found anything yet to replace it with.

Does a very good job moisturizing, and when used together with Neutrogena RapidClear Foaming Cleanser - clears up and prevents future breakouts.
I have always like Biore products, but this is the first time I am using Bioré Shine Skin Balancing Moisturizer.
Smells nice, gets absorbed very quickly, doesn't leave a greasy film on your skin, and does control shine. I no longer "glow" by lunchtime....

This is a great moisturizer. It is lightweight and has a great scent. It is very comparable to Clinique's Moisture In Control, but has a better smell and is a lot less expensive.

I know this product has been discontinued so when I found it here I was really excited. I used this alot and really like the way it works. This bottle smelled a bit differently that my bottle I originally used from the store. And didn't work quite as well. But I still use it and it is better than some of the alternatives I have tried.

I applied the Bjore as directed on the package, and used it for about a week. I noticed that the "shine control" only seemed to last about 10 minutes, and left my skin feeling dry and cracked. The other problem I encountered is that it caused me to break out with acne everywhere I applied it.
