Ingredients
Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Water, Glycerin, PEG 12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Methylparaben
Directions
1. Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use (see illustration). 2. After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose. The strip won't stick on a dry nose. 3. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to nose area, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. 4. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch - like papier-mache. 5.Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward center.

I've been using these for the last couple years now and I they have totally cleaned up and minimized the look of my pores on my nose. I recommend using a strip right after a nice, hot shower. You'll be clean and your pores will be open. It leaves your nose looking a little red, but goes away pretty quickly. No more blackheads after using this just once, it's great!
For the rest of my face, I use 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil + FREE Blemish Roll-on Stick with Tea Tree Oil. Tea tree oil is an amazing thing in itself. I tend to get pimples in the form of whiteheads and if I can resist popping them till I get home, I will apply some tea tree oil and the next morning they will literally have shrunk back into my skin. Really Good stuff. The blemish stick actually works pretty darn good too.
So for blackheads get the pore strips and for white heads, get some tea tree oil. Okay, I think we covered all the different colored heads...good luck!

So this is kind of a good news/bad news situation. When I used the pore strips, my nose did indeed look fabulous. I had noticed over time I was having to use a mattifying gel over my foundation to keep the shine and cavernous pores from showing. The Biore strips really did pull a lot of junk out of them and I could skip the gel afterwards.
However.....
Take the package directions seriously. They are not meant for delicate skin. Don't use toner or an exfoliant in that area for at least 24 hours. And, think about whether you really want to use them at all. These strips are basically an adhesive and a hair spray ingredient (so says the author of "Don't Go To the Cosmetics Counter Without Me.") They can irritate your skin terribly and in the long run aren't good for it. They cannot be used in combination with Retinol, AHA's or BHA's and will make spider veins more pronounced. Which is a shame because my pores' appearance really did improve immediately. But truth be told, you are probably better off investing in a good exfoliant and/or clay masque.
However.....

I used a nose strip for the first time today, and I have to say that they work pretty well. I took a shower first to open my pores, and then i left the strip on for about 30 minutes. The strips didn't get all of my black heads out, but there was a lot on the strip, so hopefully the rest will come out with continuous use.

I use these all the time - usually twice a week - which is why I'm on the subscribe and save 14 count box. They work, what can I say? I use them on my nose, forehead, chin ; even my cheeks sometimes. Seeing the stuff on the strip is my guilty pleasure!

Although, yes these strips work to get the dirt out of your pore, they stretch out your pores when you pull them off and getting rid of enlarged pores is almost impossible. And when you stretch out your pores it is easier for them to catch dirt and its just not good! Do more research!

Bioré (registered trademark) brand DEEP CLEANSING PORE STRIPS are a Godsend to people like myself and my wife. We are of Jewish and German heritage (I of course have a dash of Mexican Indian and black) and BOY!! - do we ever suffer from blackheads. All of my family suffers from them and never could we find the right cleansing agent to remove them. Can you imagine some poor old lady scrubbing her nose with a broken piece of brick? Well, my mother used to do that.
The blackhead is a problem that is specially dedicated to the nose. Bioré strips solve that problem and there is a weird bonus at the end of the process. With this technology, appealing as it does to our Cro-Magnon urges, it can't get any better.
You wet a strip and place it across your nose as if it had been broken. You let it dry there, until the strip feels tight, then rip it off - presto. If you examine your nose, the black dots are gone. If you examine the working end of the strip, you'll see a marvelously disgusting forest of upstanding black "things", which are the blackheads it just tore off your face.
What is cooler than that?!
There's no pain, no fuss, and you can keep doing whatever it is you need to do while wearing a Bioré strip. Only be certain to remove it promptly. I talked to a friend who told me a hair-raising story about putting on a strip and forgetting to remove it. It ultimately fell off, at the worst possible time. That's just plain funny as hell, but don't let it happen to you.

I bought these for fun because I haven't used them since middle school. They still work just about the same. It gets some stuff out - and of course, it's yucky fun to look at it - but it doesn't get everything. Can't hurt, I suppose, but not a product I can't live without.
