When I started using this icy cleanser, I started to see results in a week and was almost clear in a month. Thats pretty good for my acne! I don't get alot of acne, but when I do, it stays with me forever. This cleanser does not dry out my skin at all, unlike Klear Action Acne treatment, a generic brand to Proactiv. I actually like this Biore Ice Cleanser better than Klear Action. And you can buy this right in the grocery store, not online. I saw a difference in my skin tone as well with the Biore Ice Cleanser. And for $5.99 for 6.7 oz is a great price. The only bad thing I can think of about this product is that it doesn't lather too well, making you think you need more soap which uses the product up quicker.

I've never written a review before, but this product deserves it. Every single time I shop for face wash I spend at least an hour in the aisle reading the back of every bottle, never finding the one that sounds like it's for me. Well, I got lucky with this one. Honestly, I bought it because it sounded cool. Ice cleanser? That's just cool. Well, fortunately for me, it does more than just sound cool--it works great! My face is *so* soft after I use it, and I notice an immediate difference if I use a different cleanser, even after one day. I never even thought my skin was too bad, I just washed it to keep it feeling clean, but the improvement I got in my complexion was incredible! I feel like I glow afterward. I have freckles and I always get concerned that I look dirty because of them, so I have to use lots of foundation to cover them up. With this face wash, it lifts the dirt and minimizes the pores enough that I don't get self-conscious at all when I'm not wearing foundation! It also gives you a great feeling when you're all groggy in the morning--it wakes you right up! I do recommend keeping it on for a while though, since that's when I notice the best clean. If you can handle the menthol for that long, I'd even recommend making it the first thing you put on and the last thing you take off.
Despite all its greatness, I would absolutely not recommend this for people with sensitive or dry skin. I have very oily skin and really enjoy the drying effects, but it might be irritating to people with dry/sensitive skin.

I have used this face wash religiously for years now and I love it. Everyone has different skin, so this soap will get a wide variety of results and reviews due to people's differences. I have used a few of the designer face washes like Khiel's, Clinique, etc., and I started to use this face wash after reading the Skin Type Solution book. My face immediately responded and I have stuck with the Biore soap because it works. I have combo skin, oily and dry and I find soaps that are too harsh and over dry my skin will cause me to break out because my skin is trying to compensate by over producing oil to protect my skin from the elements.
