Pros: 5mg ( most are 2, or 3mg ), cheap
Cons: Does it really show a difference?

I bought Biotin mainly for my nails. I can truely say.. I think.. it works. I bite my nails nonstop and when i started using it i felt my nails were growing back faster and harder. It is great tha t this is 5mg and not a 3mg bottle. The only recommendation I have since this sells directly from swanson, is to buy more than one to save on shipping.

I bought this for my wife on the advice of her doctor abd it really does grow new nail beds. You have to be patient and use 5MG but it really works!!!!

Biotin was recommended to me by my podiatrist who pronounced my toenails among the worse he'd ever seen. They were dry, porous, brittle, and very yellow. It took probably 6 months until my nails grew fully out from bad to good, but my toes now look "normal" and I can wear open toed shoes again. Added benefits include longer, stronger fingernails and thicker, fuller hair. My hair stylist noticed the difference and asked me whether I'd changed styling products. I hadn't, so it must have been the Biotin. I've also read in recent studies, Biotin has been shown to help diabetics control their blood sugar and ease the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy, so my husband has begun taking it too. If he sees improvement I'll be writing another review.

I've been taking Biotin for about a year now and when I started my hair was short, brittle and thinning. Over time my hair has stopped falling out, has grown really fast and long, holds a nice shine and has never been healthier. My nails are growing back fast and hard too, but even I can't keep long nails for long without breaking them. As with all supplements nothing happens over night, so patience is key here.

Made my nails grow! I had to clip them every week, used to clip them every three weeks. Can't say the same for my hair. I bought this for my hair loss, thought it could help. Overall great product.

I started taking 5 mg of Biotin per day in May, by August I had new hair growth all over my head and today it is over 2 inches long. My husband who has male baldness started taking it in the beginning of August
and has new hair growth throughout the bald area of over 1/8 inch at present. Why pay so much for those bottles of "who knows what" chemicals when this tiny natural Vitamin B7 or aka H capsule will do this work so naturally and nicely. My husband and I are in our 70s and recommend our older friends who have thinning hair try it. It was truly amazing to really see these results so soon...

Can't beat the price and I didn't notice a decline in nail health/growth. ALso, didn't notice a decline in hair growth. Would buy again

Love love this biotin. Makes my hair so much thicker, takes a month or so, but it really makes a difference. Other people have noticed, so it's not my imagination.

Taking Biotin for help with weight loss... it sounds good in theory, hoping it really works! this is the best for the price!
