Gary Jules has put out another great CD. This time with the Group Rules. Amazingly talented group of musicians. From the first song to the last, this CD is incredible. I love it. Gary Jules is such an incredible songwriter (one of the best I know), always tells a story and done very intricately. And his vocals are so beautiful -- again one of the best in the biz!!! I not only recommend this CD - I recommend all of his CDs. I have them all and love them all.
And if you get the chance, go see him live. He puts on a great show. I was fortunate enough to see him many times this summer and every single show was fantastic. I've been seeing him since I discovered him at a small coffeehouse in Philly back in 2002 - discovered him by chance and so glad I did as he has become one of my favorite performers. I've roadtripped to North Carolina and Ohio - that is how much I enjoy seeing him live. He also has a Live at Lime session over on Limewire that is just incredible - Link to Live at Lime Session [...] |
