This is a British magazine -- not for USA
Bird Watching Just a heads up: this magazine is for the British Isles and is not appropriate for bird-watchers in the USA. (Completely different species and habits of birds.) Can't say if it's worth the extra $$$, but it supports a British birdwatching society (nonprofit) so that may account for the difference in pricing. Also, your subscription includes...

You can subscribe to this magazine for $26.95 elsewhere from the publisher. Why would you pay almost 5 x that ?

Bird Watching
Just a heads up: this magazine is for the British Isles and is not appropriate for bird-watchers in the USA. (Completely different species and habits of birds.) Can't say if it's worth the extra $$$, but it supports a British birdwatching society (nonprofit) so that may account for the difference in pricing. Also, your subscription includes a family membership in WWT (World Wetlands Today, I think) along with whatever benefits that membership includes. Probably not a good selling point for US customers, but might be in the UK If you're in the USA, you want "BirdWatching" (one word) not "Bird Watching" (two words). They're two completely different magazines. Just a FYI |
