Mel Gibson may be getting some bad press these days but "Bird on a Wire" reminds us of why he was once one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Mel is his cute, hot and engaging self here and he's perfectly matched with the charmingly neurotic Goldie Hawn as his love interest. This movie is a great mix of action and comedy - perfect for date night.

As for the "Cowboy Way"...feel free to skip it.

I love both of these movies. I was originally just looking for Bird on a Wire but since I could get both of these great movies for less I went that road. I really like that the movies are on separate disks.

There was no damage at all. No defects or scratches. It's as if I bought it from the store. Buying the movie I wanted as a double feature was cheaper than buying it as a single title. The single title I was looking for was The Cowboy Way. I love watching cowboys and indians movies. I found both Keifer and Woody sexy as cowboys. It's funny how two cowboys handle things deep in the center of a huge city. They grew up around anything cowboy. I never watched Bird on a Wire. Just because it was Mel Gibson doesn't mean I will watch it. Maybe on a very very boring day, I will watch it. I only bought the double feature because of The Cowboy Way. The Cowboy Way definitely completes my cowboy movie collection along with Urban Cowboy and others.

If you have not seen the Cowboy Way you are in for a treat. Woody and Kiefer are an absolute riot. They do things only a cowboy would dream up.

Goldie is her usual fritz-ed out self. Mel's character is perfectly portrayed as her antagonist. What an all around great double feature.

Absolutely loved watching these movies again and to get them in a 2 CD set - bonus!
