I can't believe it, this balloon with the eyes really worked. Had a problem in my entryway/front porch area. Bird droppings galore. I figure what the heck $7. I hung it up and the birds have not returned to this area. So I am ordering two more for the back and side of the house. Only thing, the neighbors I am sure are wondering if I have started a cult.

I bought the Scare Eye Balloon to try to deter the martins from our swimming pool. Three of our neighbors have the martin gourds, and the martins use our pool as their watering location. We attached an empty milk jug filled with water and a few rocks to the Scare Eye and floated it in the middle of the pool. The birds have not completely stopped drinking from the pool, but are more hesitant to dive in the pool. I am ordering a few more of the eyes to add to the pool. Of course, none of the family or friends want to swim with the Scare Eyes looking at them!

We have a bird problem. They love to build nests on our porch. I love birds but they leave us little presents all over the porch floor.
I loved these eyes. Alas, they didn't last long because it is pretty windy where we live and the string broke. Next time we will put it on a fishing swivel, cause it spins a lot.

It worked great for me. Had it for about a year and no geese. Then it blew off in a storm and the geese are back. I'm buying another!

I was sceptible- but this immediately kept the geese and most seagulls off my dock- yeah I can walk on it again without my dog eating "bird snacks". Well worth it and much better than nasty chemicals or the ugly long strip of flashing mylar tape. AAA+++

This actually works! We moved into our new home 2 years ago and the house was vacant for 3. The birds had taken OVER! We were able to deter many of them, but the Phoebes were a different story. I know birds have mites etc...but this bird has more than its share! And the mites will come off of them and crawl all over YOU if you try to move the nest etc. Our first experience with this bird was at the home we moved from. They had made a nest under our deck, unbeknownst to us. Our cat went out and laid on the deck above the nest. Her eyes got wide and she started freaking OUT! The mites were ALL over her! Then when we moved here we knocked the nest down over and over, but they build so fast, up it went and the babies were IN. It was right above our door to come in and poo galore on our steps YUCK! So we moved the nest after the babies were bigger. They flew out of course and we gathered them back to the nest, but not before being COVERED in mites!!!!!!! So that was it! We had to fight these mitey birds! So after a search i found these balloons. They don't cost much, so why not try. NO more Phoebes!!! You have to hang the balloon so it will move around and have the tail on the end with the shiny straps hanging. Nothing on ours broke and we have ours whipping around in the wind. So, long story short, this was a great buy!

Worked great on mallard ducks!,

Had two mallard ducks that wanted to make our pool their home. I was prepared to welcome them until I realized where they were pooping (in the pool) and how much they poop (a lot)! Running out to chase them away did nothing but amuse them and tire me out. Online research suggested using fake swans (which for some reason are $40+ everywhere). It was looking like the ducks were going to win and then I came across the Scare Eye balloon. It just worked! Immediately! And for a lot lower price than the fake swans. Humans 1, ducks .5 (they succeeded in making me run around like a lunatic for about 3 weeks before I finally found the Scare Eye).

The Bird Eye Balloon worked for about 2 weeks.I bought it for my backyard patio but the birds are back building their nests as usual. I had bought 4 balloons and the first one I pumped up had a slow leak and after several attempts re-inflating it......it kept loosing the air. I am not satisfied with the product and wish I can find something out there that would solve my bird problem for good.

The birds and squirrels eating the figs on my fig tree are in no way intimidated by these silly balloons. They do not work! Don't waste your money.
