My son is only 10 so we didn't want to spend a fortune on a skateboard, but he needed/wanted one that was a little higher quality than the department store brands. This skateboard is perfect...since it's a Tony Hawk brand, he thinks he's a pro, and we don't have to bust our budget.

This was purchsed for my son, age 8. He has only used the crappy $20 boards or a too large "real" deck before, so was pretty thrilled to get one his size with good wheels. Deck is symmetrical, although top logo cutout is not.
