Nothing, and I mean nothing, has improved my game more,
Wouldn't it be great to live in a golf course community with free anytime access to the driving range? Bridieball, makes this possible to anyone with an average sized backyard. Comparing Birdieballs to other practice golfballs, whether of the plastic wiffleball variety or those made of foam with a solid core is like comparing a wood shaft to one of today's nanotech engineered graphite shafts. Birdieballs fly exactly like a golfball, only for a shorter distance. Not only that but they offer perfect golfball like feel at impact. Close your eyes and you will think you are hitting a performance golfball. You can feel the difference between off-center and sweet spot hits. In addition, the ball offers enough resistance to mark impact tape, so you can farther optimize your practice time. It is hard to appreciate the feedback provided by the sound of a Birdieball in flight until you try it. The manufacture describes it as a turbine in reverse, unfortunately, I have never heard a turbine in reverse. I would describe the sounds as barrummmmm, a very satisfying low pitch sound that registers in your sub-conscience. I realized this while playing a round after working with the Birdieballs for a while, every time I hit a good shot (and that happened much more after using the Birdieballs) I noticed that in the back of my mind I was hearing that low pitched barrummmm.
Practice makes perfect as the old saying goes. Birdieballs make it possible to hit a couple before work. Hit a couple after work and before dinner, and hit a couple in the evening before the sun goes down. I have used many practice aids, clubs and read books in the quest for the perfect swing. Nothing and I mean nothing has improved my game more, while being fun and easy to use. I am not in anyway connected to the folks at Birdieball and would be happy to talk to anyone considering buying this product (...) to verify this. This is one golf product that has really blown my socks off. Greg Steele - Philadelphia, PA

This product is great if you have a smaller area or if you don't want to go to a driving range. The balls have the real feel and you can even tell if you pull or slice the ball. The strike pad is okay and leaves marks on your clubs, but good if you don't want to mess with a cleanup after you practice.

+1 to Paul Olson's review. I've used these for three years now and I still LOVE to practice with my Birdieballs. The birdieballs themselves won't help your game any more than a golf ball. What they give you is an excellent limited flight simulation of a golf ball. It's very satisying to hit - even after three years. They give you extreme portability to practice more often and in isolated places (I like to concentrate privately on drills, etc). Hit all your clubs. Draw it, fade it, low, high.
Since using birdieballs, I've won two par 3 closest to the pin contests (2" and 2') and have hit the pin in regular play more times than. I would've won a couple long drives, but just missed the fairways on both. I'm also teaching my four year old daughter how to play golf by using birdieballs. She loves them! The one thing birdieballs won't do is make you putt better, but getting it closer really really helps with less putts!

My daughter tried out Birdie Ball at the 2011 US Women's Open. She is 8 years old and had great success with it. The strike pad with its visual aid really helped her to keep her swing in line. We decided to purchase this for her so she could practice in the winter time. The price here was better than the manufacturer and free shipping too.

I have plenty of back yard to swing up to about a 5 iron. With Birdie Balls I can practice with every club in the bag. You can draw and fade them, hit lobs or punch shots. They feel like a golf ball off the club face. What's not to like? Yes, they're a bit pricey for chunks of PVC. For what they can do for your practice sessions they're worth it.

Awesome product!!!! Feels just like a real ball. Way better then the boring old plastic golf balls that crush over time.

I am a very new golfer. I had been going to the driving range, and hitting foam practice balls in my yard. Foams balls bring no joy. The Birdie Ball, on the other hand, is a blast! When you hit hit a good shot, that sound is so satisfying! I recommend them.

Purchased this for my husband who doesn't always have the time to go to the driving range. He really liked that the "balls" felt and traveled like the manufacture's description. As a beginner golfer, I also tried it out and liked that I didn't break tees or ruin the grass from my attempts. Also, the strike pad has a swing path to assist the novice player. The only complaint I have (and this is already mentioned in the description) is that it needs more space than an average backyard in the suburbs. So, we took a short walk to a nearby open field to use the birdie ball set.

These are a great product. They are very durable, I havent cracked one yet. They fly farther than I thought they would. I also really like the strike pad. Although when I practice with wedges I prefer hitting the birdie balls on the ground. A lot better than going to the range all the time.

I am new to golf and I seen this product at a drivng range. I loved it so I bought it! Since I have had this at my house it has saved me alot of money at the driving range and my swing is really comming around. I have already got my slice out and I have been playing for only 6 months! My experienced golf playing friends love this as well. The best part is you can only hit this thing 40 yards with a full power swing. You dont even have to be on the grass.
