Wow!I was drawn back to the Christian faith by "Open Christianity"after a long absence.I found though that I did not have a lot of resources and ideas.Low and behold comes this wonderful book that has inspired me once again.A must have for members of the Progressive Christian movement.

Jim Burklo's work is what brought me back to Christianity, and now I am able to call it home without feeling like I have to sacrifice who I am. "Birdlike and Barnless" is a nice addition to my bedside table, offering me food for thought, and gentle renewal and reconnection.
