About the Author
Australian-born Peter Rowland realized his passion for bird study as a child living in the south of England. Since returning to Sydney in 1982, this life-long interest developed into writing books and scientific articles on birds. Through his association with the Bird Department of the Australian Museum, Peter is now targeting his studies towards Australia's endangered birds. He has travelled extensively throughout New South Wales and Queensland performing environmental studies.
