This book is a wonderful resource for helping parents think through their beliefs about sexuality and how those beliefs influence the discussions they have with their children. By reflecting on the questions posed in this book, I feel I'm in a better position to discuss with my teens everything from postponement of sex to sexually transmitted diseases.

Parents of young children will appreciate the discussions of "playing doctor" and self stimulation. This book also provides practical information on what kids should know by when - information that can reduce the likelihood of being sexually abused.

Watching this video really opened my eyes about talking to my son about sex. He is 10 and I haven't really had any conversations with him. I think I've been waiting for him to ask! Amy helped me understand "the sooner, the better", how important it is to clarify my own values, and the wisdom of providing information before he actually needs it. I think I'm ready to initiate our first Birds & Bees conversation. This video helped me gain the confidence to do that.
