I got this as a Christmas gift for my mom. She loves it and so do the birds. So many can fit up in it at one time and they are fun to watch. I also got the 18" squirrel baffle and pole to go with it..very nice setup. I might even get one for myself.

This is a very popular feeder in my back yard and draws many varieties of bird. It is sturdy and has stood up to the elements well.

I disagree with a former reviewers assessment with having to drill holes. There is no reason to drill or re-drill holes during assembly. The screws self tap quite easily and the holes are really meant as guides and not much more.

It doesn't come with a stand. Don't do what I did and buy a sectional stand for this. It is too heavy for a sectional and should be put onto a one piece pole otherwise it will lean.

This feeder is shown mounted on a pole but it does not come with any bracket or mechanism for doing that. Showing the pole connected to the feeder is misleading and should not be part of the image. It was a gift and the recipient now has to figure out how to attach the feeder to a pole.

It takes more than a screwdriver to assemble this thing. The few pilot holes that are pre-drilled are too small and have to be drilled out. There are no pilot holes in the roof which require more drilling. I would send it back but fortunately I have the tools to do the job. Don't buy this unless you are able to finish the very poor job done by the manufacturer.
