About the Author
Ive just completed my latest childrens book and am about to share it with my family and friends. Their question always remains the same: When do you find the time to write while youre taking care of your four children? I explain: Writing is the easy part! I have thoughts and ideas in my head all the time. I write them down quickly and make sure that I find time to turn these ideas into stories. At the age of twenty, just two years after I graduated high school, I became a mother for the first time. For the next thirteen years, I dedicated myself to raising my four children, now ages 13, 11, 7, and 5. My children have been my inspiration and have turned my world around. They are my audience and look forward to each new story. I have been trying to publish for the past three years. Thats the hard part. Unfortunately, I still remain an unpublished author. The question my family and friends dont dare to ask is: Why do you continue to write so many books if you havent had any published? I know one day my talent will be recognized by a publishing company. I dont plan to become rich, I just have a dream to share my stories to give other children the enjoyment that I give to my own children. I need to express my thoughts on paper. If I had to stop writing, Id blow up! My dreams would be crushed. As a child, writing was my escape and enjoyment. I believe that if you work hard and follow your dream, it will come true. If writers give up too soon, we would have a world without stories. Imagine a world without books! Id like to thank Airleaf Publishing for all their hard work that was put into publishing, Birds dont say, Bow - Wow! I look forward to publishing the next book. Thank you for making my dreams come true.
