The book "The Birds in My Life" that was laboriously written and edited by Supreme Master Ching Hai with nice printing, was released to encourage people to study, to share the love, and to learn how to take care of our animal friends. After reading the book, I think it was laid out so beautifully with vivacious images. The simple construction of words brings us a feeling of excitement, closeness, and friendliness toward the bird.

I feel that I am lucky to have read this book. Among the twenty two species of bird that the author is raising, some are given individual names with special meanings. For example, Brighty, Sunny, and Cheery are the names given to the birds so that they could enjoy a life full of happiness and good spirit. Free Joy is always excited about life whereas Mei Mei was given this name because of her quality of intelligence. Each species has its own characteristic. Some have noble gestures with interest in peace like Anakhan, and are liberal and elegant towards women like Free Joy. Some are loyal and talkative like Gentino, gentle and compassionate like Luvy, or just interested in scratching their own heads like Prajna. Others dangle from above like Rainbow, the rest able to understand humans like Libra.

Therefore, to me this is a book full of love, a documentary work that the author has spent a tremendous amount of time on, in her persistent work to integrate, study, research, and collect her own and personal experiences that she has toward each specie of bird. This brings us a wealth of insights with profound feelings to the nature of the birds as well as other animals around us. Reading the book will also help us relax mentally, and develops our ability to be more aware with greater understanding, and to respect the life of all beings. Furthermore, this will help enrich our life with such great joy that we will be more ready to explore the wonderful and mysterious world.

I hope that more people will read this very beneficial and valuable book, "The Birds in My Life." If you are thinking about buying a good book for your collection or as a gift to your children, or family members, I highly recommend this book.

All of our family members love this book. This book has been my youngest son's favorite night time story book. He is in Kindergarten now, he could read most of the books. He has finished the book already, still he keeps reading it again and again. I love this book not only because of its richness in color, most importantly is the loving, compassionate message that the book conveys. Every time I read it, I feel lots of love filled in my heart. We don't have any pet or birds at our home, I feel it is lots of work and lots of burden for me. While after reading this book, I have more understanding about animal's inner world, I start change my mind maybe I should adopt one.
Absolutely it is one of the best books for parents to share with our children.

Thank you for carrying these books (the birds in my life and the dogs in my life) by Supreme Master Ching Hai. They will help more people to expose to the noble characters of these beautiful beings and in turn people will develop love for them and also for other beings around us. Thanks so much.

The book "The Birds in My life" written by The Supreme Master Ching Hai is a beautiful book that brought the readers into a different dimension. A dimension of love and joy. Love unlimited to human beings but to other creatures that also walked the same planet. Joy as each charater in the book touched your heart and filled you with laughter. This is a beautiful book and Master Ching Hai is an amazingly beautifully lovingly Lady.

This book really opens my eyes and heart to the inner beauty and intellegency of the lovely birds. The poem by Laguna (the bird poet) is simply marvelous. And cute too! She describes the author's hair as "golden feather..." :)

I'm so touched by the love Supreme Master Ching Hai has for these birds. This book is full of love and compassion. I'm not a bird person but I found this soo touching. The quality of book is also superb. glossy color printed so well worth the money. This book will touch your heart.

This book, Bird in My Life by the Supreme Master Ching Hai is perfect for all people and ages. I ordered this book for me. When I read it, I kept reading and couldn't let it down. My husband and son also love to read it and share it their friends too. With beautiful pictures of 24 + birds and their stories, people can learn alot from their unconditional and selfless love. Furthermore, their stories can bring happiness and uplifting your spirit with purity and higher level of love.
