This poetry book by author James Brush, contains unique personifications of the birds vultures & grackles. Not only are the poems unique, they are also thought provoking, yet, easily understood. The book does seem to tell a story, many in fact. Each told with a poetic & sharp irony. An irony that is complex & simple- simutaneously. A good book, a very good book.

Zany and quick with a perspective that you will not find anywhere else on the planet. This little poetry book is fun and thought provoking. I will never look at a vulture the same way. Now as for grackles, I plan to find one and look at it closely for the first time. The author has a delightful way of entertaining the reader with ordinary nature. It may not be a "stop and smell the roses" approach to life, but it is an out of the box view of our world. Don't miss it!

All you say in your book resonates a lot with me. Perhaps this is so because my wife and I love our dear grackle Kitchi so much, also surely thanks to the bright images in your insightful poems. Thank you.
