This review is from: Birds of Passage (Audio CD)
This is one of my favorite CDs. It is rare in that you can let it play all day long and simply just enjoy it either in the back or the foreground of your day. It is layered enough to really get into, but it is just as wonderful to read the Sunday paper by while sipping coffee. It is a hard balance to strike, but Sadao does a very good job of it.Too often artists go too lite to be really enjoyed as jazz or they get too esoteric and artsy for anyone other than the artist to enjoy., but Birds of Passage strike that balance nicely |
