Birds of the Seward Peninsula, February 11, 2008
This review is from: Birds of the Seward Peninsula, Alaska (Hardcover)
I live in Shishmaref on the northern part of the Seward Peninsula and have been wanting to document the birds here. I purchased this as a resource to find out what birds have been documented here. This is a very comprehensive guide that provides information for every species that have been identified in one form or another by many different explorations of ornithologists and locals over the years.
This is an excellent resource for any birders planning on a trip to the Seward Peninsula to visit Nome and the communities and areas surrounding.
This is not a field guide. There are no pictures to help you identify birds. If you are looking for a field guide consider Sibley's, National Geographic, etc.
