Ugh. This book is so comprehensive that it is disheartening. My copy has just shy of 500 pages with the following layout:Aquila chrysaetos _________________________________ Golden Eagle Widespread Holarctic regions of... That's it. Two lines per bird and 500 pages! The line gives you space to note the date and location you spotted the bird. This book is my bible of birdwatching. I use other guides for identification and this as my permanent record for sightings. If you need a life list that covered the world this is your book. |
